Back by popular demand, the annual trip to Farm Fitness was upon us and the weather was looking good for it, so plenty of members put their name down for this one.
Not only is Farm Fitness an amazing venue, it's ran by two amazing people in Tom and Clare.
The workouts are always challenging but we had come prepared, as our 12 week Team Training programme was in full swing and the members are crushing it.
To bring a bit of context to what Farm Fitness is about...
It's on a huge farm in Great Dunmow, it has everything you can ever want for working out, the trainers are super motivating and knowledgeable, and the general set up of the workouts means our members get to go up against each other for a bit of friendly competition... which always brings out the best in us!
There were 5 x 10min workouts which consisted of ski ergs, sleds, tyres, log presses, rope climbs, running and air bikes.
They were put together in a way that kept everyone busy but always had you working hard as a team because every round had a score to be taken, be that total team calories or reps, so everyone was going for it.
In true British fashion, it poured down with rain in amongst two spells of beautiful sunshine, which just made it all that more interesting.
The team spirit was high and so were the calories on those apple watches!
In fact, the general feedback was so positive that we have already secured another trip there in September.
